February Half Term Holiday

Only a few weeks to go until February half term.

We are taking bookings now with a plan of activities to follow soon.​

​​​​​​School Closures (Especially Bad Weather)

Please can we remind you of the following in the event of school closures:

If school announces it is closed for the day before we are due to open,

we will automatically be closed. If it is linked to bad weather, we advise you wait until an announcement is made by school (usually around 7.30am) before setting off.

Please do not attempt to drop off or leave your child(ren) to walk round on their own as we may not have made it in ourselves.

If school makes the decision to close once we have opened in the morning, we will call you to come and pick up your child(ren) as-soon-as possible as we are not able to operate full days during term time.

If school closes part-way through the day, we will automatically be closed in the afternoon.

If we are expecting to open as normal in the afternoon and the weather becomes bad, we will call you to come and pick-up your child(ren) as-soon-as possible as we will expect close early to ensure our staff are able to get home safely too.

If it is a holiday day and (potential) bad weather, please check your emails either the night before, but most definitely in the morning before setting off to check whether we are going to be open.

At the moment we are very busy during term-time. There are a few morning and afternoon slots still available on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday and afternoon slots on a Tuesday and Friday. Please get in touch to check if availability has changed or to be put on a waiting list.

 

Non-attendance

Please can we remind you to contact us if your child is not going to be coming to the club whether it be for illness or being picked up early etc. The staff in the school office don't have a daily list of who comes each day and therefore don't have the time to ring up or message about every child in school who is not in, on the off-chance they would also normally be coming to us. It also alleviates any miscommunication if we hear from you personally. Thank you. ​​​​
